This may sound filmi, but it’s real. Bollywood actor Dino Morea was harassed by three local goons while he was shooting for Nari Hira’s film Bhram at Gorai beach, the day before yesterday. They demanded hafta from the star for shooting on the beach. This despite the fact that three policemen were posted on the sets for security.

Director Pawan Kaul was shooting a romantic scene with Sheetal Menon and Dino when the incident took place. The goons swaggered around, threatened the actors and unit members and rammed their rickshaw into the expensive equipment on the sets.

Dino says, “What was most shocking was the behaviour of the cops present. They supported the local goons and actually asked us to pay up the money. Finally we had to pay some money to get rid of the goons. I would not like to quote the amount which we had to pay, but I am really shocked to see that cops function this way. They refused to help us, and insisted that we shell out money to get rid of the goons. They even abused everyone in the unit. I was really angry with them. Pawan asked me to keep away, because he didn’t want this ruckus to continue as we had to finish shooting before sunset.”
