Jammu: After playing second fiddle to Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranawat in her debut film “Fashion”, Mugdha Godse is excited about the prospects of “Jail”, where she is the leading lady opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh.
“I am just excited about Jail ,” she told reporters here today on the sidelines of a function. “I am still basking in the glory of the success in Fashion . I am enjoying success. It is the beginning and I delighted to play the leading lady in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail ,” Godse said.
The model-turned actress attributed her bagging the role due to the success of “Fashion”. “All this has come to me due to Fashion . I am also happy for the Screen Award nomination. I am learner and have learnt most of acting from Fashion , prior to which I had no idea about acting,” said Godse, who was Miss India runner-up in 2004. “I had to struggle hard to reach here. I come from a middle class family from Pune. But by dint of hard work, I am here today,” she said.
