Himesh Reshammiya, the ace music composer turned singer-actor, has roped in Mallika Sherawat to do the Mehbooba track from the Sippy’s Sholay in his debut film Aap Ka Surroor.
She will start the song with Helen like steps but later will be seen performing in Casino Royale kind of a set up. She will be using two costumes – the first will be a 
replica of what Helen had worn—a gypsy skirt and top but her second costume will be a transparent classic black evening gown with diamond earrings and bracelets. Her hair too will be long with curls like Shakira and Beyonce.
As Himesh explains, ‘ Our Mehbooba Mehbooba track is a tribute to R D Burmanji. Prashant Chaddha (director) has worked out a mind-blowing concept for the film and the best of people are working on the song to make it memorable. As a singer I have attempted to give the same energy as Panchamda. The purity of the tune has been retained; only the arrangement has been modernized, which is done by DJ Akbar Sami.’
