Rimmi plays a die-hard Mahendra Singh Dhoni fan in Hattrick. That’s because she said an outright no to playing a Sachin Tendulkar fan in the film.
She tells why. “I was a huge Tendulkar fan when I was a kid. I wanted to get married to him! However, when he got married I was completely heartbroken and gave up watching cricket completely. So when Milan suggested Sachin, I decided to stick to Dhoni. In Hattrick also, I play a person who has nothing to do with cricket till she gets married to Kunal Kapoor. She gets so obsessed with Dhoni that Kunal gets annoyed,” she says.
