Aishwarya Rai, now Bachchan, is all set to return to work in June with her father- in- law and Big B of the film industry in Ram Gopal Varma’s sequel ‘ Sarkar 2.’ Aishwarya is playing the pivotal role of Nagre family’s daughter-in-law who takes an active interest in maintaining the powerful hold of the family after the patriarch played by Amitabh Bachchan recedes into the background and Abhishek takes the charge.
As a source reveals, ‘ Aishwarya dates are confirmed for Ramu’s project. She has, in fact, the most important role in the sequel. While the senior Bachchan becomes a shadowy figure in Sarkar 2, the new godfather played by Abhishek Bachchan looks to his wife as the power behind the family throne in Sarkar 2. Work is also on for the grand concert tour that the three Bachcans are undertaking in the middle of 2008.’
